Founded in 1938 by Dr. K. M. Munshi, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan is today an all India  intellectual, cultural and educational movement  dedicated to the twin task of interpreting the age old yet ageless message of our country and of integrating our varied world.

During the six decades of its existence, the Bhavan has come to be recognized as a symbol of India’s glorious past and as a comprehensive national institution with an international outlook touching all aspects of life and enriching all spheres of  activity.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan conducts classes from Kindergarten to Post Graduate research and imparts education in subjects ranging from Carnatic music to Engineering, from Sanskrit to Business Management and from Yoga to Journalism.  This is being    accomplished through its centers spread all over the country and abroad, through cultural and educational programs it conducts from time to time and above all through personal discussions and dialogue.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thriprayar Kendra started its first CBSE School at Kanjani.

In the first phase of the development Class LKG to 1st standard started functioning from June2005 with all infrastructure facilities.  Admission to other standards was made in a phased manner.

Admission to Bhavan’s School is open to all irrespective of Caste, Religion and Nationality subject to age and other criteria specified.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
Boys (I-X) Light blue shirts with half sleeves and one pocket on left side.  Navy blue shorts with   two pleats in front and side pockets. Students who are above 145 cm in height should   wear navy blue trousers.  Loops not less than 5cm in breadth (for belt) to be  provided.

Girls (I-V) Navy blue pinafore with 'V' neck in the front, round neck at the back, sides open  the waist. Box pleats two in the front and two at the back with loops not less than 5cm in breadth above each pleat for belt. Length of pinafore up to the knee.

Girls (VI-VII) Light blue shirt with half sleeves and shirt collar with navy blue half-coat Navy blue pleated skirts, upto the knee. Three box pleats in the front and three box pleats at the back.  The pleats should be 12 cm  broad, and 4.5 cms deep on either side of  each pleat.  Black ribbon with usual uniform for all girls.

Girls (VIII-X) Navy blue salwar and navy blue half-coat, light blue kameez, closed round neck with two hooks at the back, plain loose sleeves length one inch above the elbow, length of kameez three inches below the knee with slits of  6 inches length at the sides. There should be a pocket on the right side below the waist. Full uniform is compulsory on all working days including days of functions, celebrations etc.

Footwear
Boys : Black plain (without designs) laced leather shoes with Navy blue socks
Girls  : Black plain (without designs) buckled leather shoes with Navy blue socks.

Monsoon wear
Boys & Girls : Black sandal Sandals with heel strap.
